How to get around Alpbach

How our self-guided Alpbach walking holidays work:

Our self-guided trips let you set your own pace, from the length of your stay, to how far you walk each day. But if you’re used to group or guided holidays, you might be wondering how you’ll get around? Well, it’s easy…

Getting to and around town:

Your transfer from the airport to Alpbach is included in your trip. Once there, you’ll find Alpbach village a charming destination perfect for walking, featuring paved walkways and weaving mountain meadow trails.
Local buses and nearby Brixlegg train station also link up neighbouring Reith, Niederau, Kitzbühel, Innsbruck, and Salzburg for great day trips.

Getting to your walks and hikes:

Local buses run hourly, and connect you to four nearby gondolas - that means no huffing and puffing your way up the side of a mountain (unless you want to!) just fab hikes and stellar viewpoints from the get-go.
Please note: Wiedersbergerhornbahn lift closed June 8–19 for maintenance. Reitherkogelbahn lift closed every Wednesday.
